OPEN STRUCTURES

For this project I collaborated with Open Structures, an open source modular construction model based on a shared geometrical grid, called the OS grid. The OpenStructures project explores the possibility of a modular system where „everyone designs for everyone.“ OpenStructures is developing a database where anyone can share designs that are in turn available for download by the public.

I used OS as an opportunity to design a Balance Bike for kids, so when kids are older, the bike can be taken apart and the parts can be reused and assembled differently.
